Sherry Darling, gallery owner and participating artist contributes handmade baskets, photography, and unique gift items. Sherry took many courses at the John C. Campbell Folk School learning the art of basketry. Her baskets may be made of willow, cedar, reed and many other natural fibers. Sherry especially enjoys making Antler baskets as they allow her much more freedom in size, shape and materials that she can weave into the basket. Sherry also has many photographs featured in the gallery, which she feels capture the beauty of the Northeast Georgia Mountain area where her gallery is located and where she lives. Her photographs feature mostly rolling hills, barns, cabins, mountain ranges, etc.
The following pieces and many others are
available in the gallery, so please contact us or come by and visit us.
